General
Do you only work with electricians?
Yes. Knowing the trade (EICRs, consumer units, EV chargers, NICEIC and NAPIT, Part P) means we know which questions your customers ask and what makes them trust an electrician. Everything on this site, from the demo website to the blog, is written for UK electrical contractors.
Do I need to get on a call? What do you need from me?
No calls needed. Everything works by email. For a mini-check or Check we need your business name, website (if you have one), the main town you cover and your main services. For a Fix, you add us as a manager on your Google Business Profile (you can remove us at any time) and give us edit access to your website, or we send you the exact changes to make yourself.
How quickly do you reply?
We reply to every enquiry by email within 2 working days. A free mini-check comes back within 2 working days, a full Check report within 3 working days, and a new website is usually live in around 7 working days once we have your details.
How do I pay?
Once we’ve confirmed what’s included by email, we send you a secure card payment link. The free mini-check is free, with no card needed. Prices are fixed and shown on our pricing page.
AI & Google visibility
What does “AI visibility” actually mean?
It’s whether AI assistants like ChatGPT, Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot mention your business when someone asks them for an electrician in your area. They build their answers from what they can find about you online: your website, Google Business Profile, reviews and directory listings. If that information is thin, out of date or inconsistent, you’re less likely to be mentioned.
Can you guarantee I’ll be top of Google, or that ChatGPT will recommend me?
No, and please be wary of anyone who says they can. AI answers change from one day, and one question, to the next. What we can do is make sure the information these tools and Google read about you is clear, accurate and convincing, give your site solid local SEO foundations, and show you honestly how often you’re being named before and after.
Isn’t this just SEO with a new name?
Partly, yes, and we’d rather be upfront about that. Google says there are no extra requirements or special optimisations needed to appear in its AI features beyond normal SEO best practice. The difference is that we actually ask the AI tools the questions your customers ask, record what comes back, and focus the fixes on local electricians: services, areas, prices, accreditations and reviews. Read more on our AI visibility page.
What’s the difference between the free mini-check, the £95 Check and the £295 Fix?
The mini-check asks 2–3 questions in ChatGPT and Google and tells you whether you were named, plus one quick fix. The Check asks 10–15 questions across four AI tools, more than once, audits your website, Google Business Profile, reviews and listings, and gives you a prioritised fix list. The Fix is us doing that work for you, then re-checking 30 days later.
Websites
Who owns the domain and the website?
You own your domain name. It’s registered in your name (or your company’s), even if we register it for you. On the Starter Site you also own the site files outright. On monthly plans, if you leave after your minimum term, your domain stays with you and we’ll hand over your site files so you can host them elsewhere.
I already have a website (Wix, WordPress, Squarespace…). Can you help?
Usually, yes. Most website builders let us make the changes in a Visibility Fix. If you’d rather move to a SparkyWeb site, we can rebuild it on your existing domain and set up redirects so you don’t lose the Google visibility you’ve already built. If your current site isn’t worth fixing, we’ll tell you straight.
How long is the contract?
The free mini-check, the Check, the Fix and the Starter Site are one-offs with no contract. Managed and Growth plans have a 6-month minimum term (that’s how we keep set-up costs low), then run month to month and you can cancel with 30 days’ notice.
How do changes work on a monthly plan?
Just email us (a quick text-style message is fine) with what you’d like changed: new services, prices, photos, areas or opening hours. Small changes are included and usually done within 2 working days (next working day on Growth). Bigger additions like extra pages are quoted up front.
Can you show my NICEIC or NAPIT badge?
Yes, if you’re registered. Scheme badges can only be used by registered businesses, so we use the official artwork from your scheme’s member portal and link to your entry on the public register so customers can check it. We’ll never add accreditations you don’t hold.
Do I need separate pages for each service and town?
Not always, but it helps. A page that clearly answers “EV charger installation in Croydon” is easier for Google and AI tools to match to that question than one long page listing everything. Our Growth plan includes up to 12 pages for exactly this reason. Only create pages for services you really offer and towns you really cover.
